Reasons why today is not good: Midterms next week
Reasons why today is good: Adam gave me Playdough

This is another picture of us making scary faces that you don't actually want to look at. It was Kara's birthday, so I made a pinata, and then we beat the crap out of it.

Grrrrrr.

We baked Kara a cake, but candles aren't allowed, so a spoon had to do.

My half-birthday cake.

When I was in college, I don't think anyone was thoughtful enough or even had enough time to bake cakes for one another. What happened to the other half of the half-birthday cake? Are they saving it for next year?

I had a dream that I was in Tempe celebrating one of your friend's birthdays, but when I woke up I couldn't remember which friend it was. Must have been Kara.

Good luck with midterms.

We really didn't have enough time, but I had to make time or I was going to lose it. You can only do so much homework before you need to drown your sorrows in something delicious and chocolately or need to kick your professors in the face for assigning busy work. The first one is the better option.

They put both halves of my cake on top of each other so it was just a really tall half cake.
